Hosting a Festival in the heart of London

After successfully releasing #ConvertToCountry and #LongRoadReveal video series through Play That Country Music’s social media channels, Ross Macintyre has been secured to present at this year’s Music Makers Festival. Music Makers is a 2-day London-based independent music festival, now in its second year. It’ll be taking place at The Half Moon, in the heart of Putney, on October 6th & 7th 2018.

The festival is organised and curated with love, by the team behind musician Albert Man. Their ethos remains the same as last year – showcase the talents of some amazing independent artists.

Festival organisers Albert Man and Manoja Ullmann will be showcasing 14 artists/bands over 2 days with 7 unique performances each day.

“Albert and I are very excited to have Ross Macintyre as the host for Music Makers Festival 2018 on October 6th & 7th at The Half Moon Putney in London. We were looking for someone who is down-to-earth, can connect with the audience and the artists, and is very passionate about music. Ross is definitely all of those things. Similarly when we talk to artists about performing at the festival, we are looking for not just amazing talent but also, wonderful people. We want this festival to have a feeling of community and be a celebration of great singer-songwriters. We are proud to say we have achieved this last year and with this year’s line-up and Ross hosting the festival, we’re really happy to have kept that ethos this year too.” Manoja Ullmann, Music Makers Festival Organiser

“I cannot wait until I present the Music Makers Festival 2018. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of the UK and Ireland’s best acts in one place. From the beautiful and melodic sounds of Michele Stodart from The Magic Numbers to the energetic and bold AKA George, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy. It’s going to be awesome!” Ross Macintyre, Founder of Play That Country Music
